This is the first time we talk to you. During this initial phone call we’ll ask you a few questions to get a better understanding of your project and requirements. We will then be able to provide you with the best advice.
During this 1 hour consultation, we sit down with you at our office at 83 Ellice Rd, Wairau Valley. We’ll make you a darn good coffee and draw as much information as possible. Our aim here is to fully understand your situation, the resources you have available, the timeline you’d like to work with etc. During this meeting we encourage you to bring ideas, house plans if you have them, section information and other relevant documents. We’ll be able to show you a heap of ideas and resources that will develop into exciting opportunities.
To get a better feel for your project, we’ll come out and visit your home. This will allow us to consider any other implications for your project. We will go through our own checklist to evaluate your property and take some photos so we can refer back to them if needed. During this inspection, we will evaluate your budget in relation to the work that needs to be done and take into consideration any plans you have in the future.
We’ll begin working out a detailed costing for your project and deliver this to you in a bound booklet with a full timing schedule and item by item breakdown. This is a completely transparent and comprehensive document so you get peace of mind knowing where every dollar is spent.
Let's Do It
Once we’ve agreed on the details of the estimate and your happy to proceed, we’ll get the Master Builders contract signed up, apply for a premium 10 year guarantee and send that off for approval. We’ll book in a start date and begin ordering and planning to commence work.
During your project, we will hold regular meetings and provide you with progress reports and photos of each stage. You are always welcome to ring us, and organize and extra meeting at any time. You will always be kept informed of the important decisions while the small stresses will be handled by our dedicated project manager.
Your project is complete. We’ll both sign off a notice of completion once final payments are received. We will book a final inspection for Code of Compliance and collate all the relevant documentation for CCC application. Oh, and you’ll get a full commercial clean prior to moving in!!
